Encipher Collaborates With MIT To Train University Students
Encipher's Co-founder & CEO Saheed Adepoju comes to speak to the MIT AITI students at the University of Ibadan about business ethics in Nigeria and starting up a business. He also delivered the story of his startup and his company's Android tablet, INYE. The students had a chance to play with the tablet and also interact with Saheed.

Mobile Entrepreneurship: Rwanda Field Visit by the World Wide Web Foundation
A representative from the World Wide Web Foundation visited Rwanda to access "opportunities and challenges of implementing a Mobile Entrepreneurs program in Rwanda." AITI was prominently featured in the field visit summary document. The summary was a bit harsh in that it called AITI's interventions "low scale" and did not mention that there is local ownership of the program as demonstrated by KIST holding an AITI extension course, instructed by local instructors.

The Randan New Times has a great article that covers Hehe, Ltd’s recent activities. Hehe, Ltd is a startup that grew out of AITI’s Rwanda Summer 2010 program. The company was founded by AITI students and has achieved great success in the short time since the program.

Business competition to mark 10 years of MIT AITI
MIT AITI is marking 10 years. The climax of the celebrations will be a mobile programming business plan competition on Friday, 30th July at the auditorium from 10.00am to 1.00pm at Strathmore University in Kenya
